    Incorrect, I know for a fact you can get a TWIC, HazMat and a passport with a felony. With the OP's friend's record, probably not, but it is indeed possible. That passport won't do much good if Canada won't let you in though.

    I also have a felony and have a passport but cant go into canada, not that I care to go there.
