    Okay, then glider trucks still sounds like a owner-op or lease driver thing, not a company driver thing.

    I have never leased a truck either.

    Plenty of smaller fleets ran gliders.

    It was your aircraft definition. If you really wanted to learn, you would have asked what a glider was. Everything else you stated was designed to get attention.

    Attention=TrollFood

    And usually after doing this, you play your innocent damsel in distress act.

    Of course I want people to pay attention to my posts. How can I learn from other people here, and how can other people learn from me if I don't have their attention? Everyone who posts here wants other people to pay attention to their posts.

    I did ask what a glider is. Look at the second post on this thread. I wrote "What do you mean by glider?"

    If the OP had said "glider truck" instead of just glider, I wouldn't have had to mention the aircraft definition of a glider. I had no idea what the heck the OP meant by glider. If I just asked "What is a glider", it would have invited numerous clowns to give the aircraft definition of a glider.

    Not everyone.
    You want people to learn from you? How do you plan to accomplish this?

    Two ways: 1# People can learn about trucking from other people's answers to the questions I ask in threads I create. 2# Sometimes I create threads that are designed to teach other people about trucking. Here is an example:

    A myth about Alleydocking believed by many truckers: Setting up to left is always best

    ______________________________________________________________

    I have no doubt that some members of this message have learned important information about trucking from the answers that other people here have given to some of the questions I ask on some of the threads that I have created. When a person creates a thread asking a question about trucking, people other than the OP of the thread learn from the answers that are given to the trucking question on that thread. For instance, I bet that numerous people ( in addition to myself) learned what a glider truck is from this thread.
