I hate what we referred to as buddy F’ers in the military. I’m Currently sitting at a Loves in Columbia, SC getting a tire replaced on an empty trailer I picked up at a Home Depot D.C.. The whole recap was blown off the tire, there was no way the steering wheel holder that dropped that trailer didn’t know it was gone.

If you can’t be bothered to get it repaired before dropping it, at least call trailer maintenance and have them send out a service truck to get it replaced. You lazy POS!

    Congrats Runningman!

I met you at Schneider way back in 2014. I only lasted three weeks there, then moved on. Glad to see you have taken control of your destiny!

Runningman I'm curious do Landstar drivers get to choose where to fuel at? I'm assuming Landstar gets discounts from certain chain stops but the drivers still have the freedom to pick and choose where they want to fuel, right?

Do you guys fuel at Love's and do you get fuel discounts at Love's?

All landstar contractors can fuel wherever they choose…they’re of course going to fuel at the stop that has the best price and such…

Generally TA/Petro and speedways is where I have seen our deepest discounts. We get discounts at all the major chains and some one off fuel stops, but it may only be .15 to .20 off compared to as much as .50+ at some TA/Petros.

Worked 3.5 days this week, made great money. I went and got the trailer inspected yesterday, took my truck to have a three axle alignment done and check the whole front suspension out.

When I bought the truck it had recaps on it, I’m getting eight new virgin tires put on it. I will pick it up Monday when we get back from a mini vacation to Texas. We fly out tomorrow morning to see my daughter and our newest granddaughter.
