20827?!?!?! I parked next to you last night in breezewood. Lol Phil got let go because they supposedly aren't hiring students anymore. I heard they offered him a different position but he refused. My wife was a recruiter and was a straight shooter also. Most of the recruiters at Pgt will be straight forward with you. Well I know it use to be like. Straight forward because there was no reason to lie. My truck is 52161

Thanks for the info on PGT. I finish school in about 3 weeks and still trying to decide on who to go with. Right now its a toss up between Maverick, CT and PGT.

I can only tell u what pgt has to offer since its the only company I have been with, but so far I really like it. They take good care of their drivers and I am making real good money. I usually bring home around 1100 a week. I was looking into mav and mcelroy and melton, but after being with pgt I am very happy. I think it is really just what you make of it. If you come here and you work hard you can make good money though. I hope to move into our specialized division after I have been here a bit longer. If u have any more questions feel free to ask. I wil do my best to help u out.

My husband is in his second week. He is going out with an OTR trainer in the A.M. He likes it okay but he wish they would let you know what department your gonna be in that part is a little annoying. The not knowing whats next and noone able to give direct answers. Hoping things get better for him. Will post again once he let's me know how the OTR goes. Luckily he has done OTR before so hopefully it wont be too bad.

Hey CJ hows it been going for you? I haven't been on much...off right now been dealing with the VA :banghead: but should have the paper work to get back in the seat by next week. I heard it's running good out there and the steel rates have gone up some? any truth behind that?

IDK if rates have really gone up, but there are a lot more loads. I have not been running long enough to really see the difference.I have not had an issue making money since I started. I have had a bunch of issues with my truck in the last couple weeks. AC broken, Hole in my oil pan, Leaking valve on tire, Coolant res had a hole and other minor issues. It all happened in the last 2 weeks. AC still not fixed, because I don't want to be down for that long while it gets fixed. AS long as I stay north until I get it fixed I will survive. I am still waiting on the VA to make the ruling on my claim, but I am hoping for 60%.
