I should have clarified...the trainer was pulling the loaded trailer. You are correct they want to wait a week or so typically.

 

Day 3

Went and picked up an empty and and went to Anderson SC to be loaded. It took about 1hr 45min to load and we then dropped the trailer back at the yard. We then went and picked up another empty and dropped it off in Spartanburg SC. Each time we picked up a empty the trainer had me doing the pre trip on the trailer so at least now I feel like i'm doing something. Understanding the paperwork and qualcomm a little more each day.


Day 4

Left for my OTR training...Heading to Houston, TX then Pasadena then Greensboro. We stopped for the night in Satsuma, AL and are getting ready to head out for our delivery tomorrow morning at 9am. I really like that we get to stay in a hotel when training...top notch. So far the training I have received has been awesome and I couldn't ask for more. will update soon.

 

I pulled loaded on way back from Texas and yes it is different then being a passenger. You def could mistake it for someone slamming into your rear.

 

Got back from Texas run today...dropped trailer last night at the Morrow terminal and then headed over to the Best Western. We headed back to the Morrow terminal around 6am hooked up dropped in Greer about 10am. I am off Thursday & Friday and head back out early Sat. Everything has been great and I am learning every day. I will update once I know where I am heading.

 

Heading out tomorrow morning for Iowa...will update when I can.

 

I'm not sure...The surge isn't as bad hauling Resin?
