My journey with Werner begins

Well about like any other truck company it's a job.... Depending on what account you get on it can be good or bad, depending on what you want and are expecting. I went with a werner owner / op company shortly after training and been here about a year now.

 

Not too bad, Werner has plenty of freight dry van, refer, flatbed, and they have several dedicated accounts depending on what area your in. Being out of Phx the only dedicated they have are dollar store's which is a lot of driver unload. Some guys do pretty well with them but I do OTR mostly running in the Midwest and southern states. Pay kind of stinks when you start out, that's why I switched to the O/O company, little better cpm and more miles. I make more per check now than I have in any job I've had in the past, so it's working out ok for me.
