My Kenworth I've owned for 20 years.

1. At least the bottom half of the screen doesn't get stone chips.
2. Helps with dust (it really works).
3. Don't really know but everyone's got them, but if you hit a kangaroo it seems to help stop the blood and guts getting under the truck, to a certain extent anyway.
