Good Luck Bigcove ! Ill bet your excited huh !! I just got the ball rolling with Millis transport, a few ex employers called me to tell me the recruiter called them to verify employment..so I'm excited too !

Still keeping my options opened for the Nashville School though if Millis falls through. Best of luck in Dallas and we will be following Your posts !

I had just found out about Millis the day before I was scheduled to go to school. I may have very well gone there, but I felt it was too late at that stage. I am very satisfied, and yes excited, to be going to Schneider. I plan on taking my laptop to orientation and posting a thread from day one.

I am glad that your former employers did an employee verification for you. Schneider has still not heard from mine and that was even after I had called them both and asked them to get it submitted. The recruiter told me not to worry about it since they were not DOT employers. I am going to take my 15 year recognition certificate and last two W-2's from one and my W-2 for the other just in case. I don't know that it will happen, but I don't want to get there and them throw in a snag on lack of employee verification. I have learned CYA first hand and try to practice it in all situations.

Called 6 times today but received voicemail every time. The recruiter sent me an email and called my house on Monday. Her email said she was trying hard to reach me If she doesn't answer my calls I wonder how hard she was trying. If you have the name of another recruiter let me have it and their number. I will try to call them instead. Thanks for the help and your thread here.

 

You can try this guy, if you want. He emailed me today, I have never talked to him but it might be worth a call.

Yeah, Millis emailed me an acceptance letter today with a target date for training of June 16th in Cartersville, GA. Schneider and Crete will remain on my after a year wish list, but I'm sure we will BOTH be learning more about other opportunity's out there ! But it looks like we could have done worse ( if you are to believe these forums lol) . Hope your experience with SNI is a good one like MANY others have had, and continue to have.

I forgot the main thing I wanted to tell You..I owned my own company for 10 years, and for employment verification they DID use my W2's - I just faxed them this AM and the sent me acceptance letter late this afternoon, So the W2's should be enough if you hit a snag. AND if You do hit a snag..Just do a shuck n' jive dance..that always works for me !! lol.

Roehl had me send my W-2's, but Schneider never requested them. I had even volunteered to send them and was told it wasn't necessary.

The recruiter told me I really didn't need to bring those items, but I am not taking a chance of being sent home for something I can control.

I wish you good luck with whichever carrier you go to.

 

You can also use your laptop to get ahead of the computer lessons at Schneider.

 

My husband just called. He is due to turn his truck in tomorrow. He just told me that his DSR called to tell him that she talked to his DBL to say that she didn't want to lose him because of his good work ethic and performance. He told her that I have the same kind of work ethic. Anyway his DBL is talking to Green Bay in hopes of getting me through now so we can team now. I am excited. I've been working out at the gym and doing 2 minute steps and my heart rate has been staying under the target heart rate. Keep good thoughts in hopes that we can stay with Schneider!
