Good luck to you. I am finishing up tomorrow. Pay close attention and do as they tell you. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! The instructors will get mad if you come in the next day without it completed. If you put forth effort, they will do everything they can to help you. Be prepared to be tired all week. The training is good, but fast paced.
The hotel is not bad at all. It is a Comfort Inn about 12 miles from the facility.beboppinbigun1 Thanks this. -
Congrats Bigcove ! Hope You find what your looking for ! Keep us posted on Your experiences ! I leave for Millis in just over 2 weeks. Excited and "Skerred" Been there ? lol

Good luck at Millis. I'm trying to get the ok to do the pretest again on the 6th. I have to pay for the gas to Edwardsville and the night at the motel but when I pass I can go right into orientation and Schneider will pick up the motel for the rest of the time.

I hope that works out for you.GypsyWillowDusk72 Thanks this. -
I understand what you are sayin'. It does feel intimidating going into the unknown. It will be fine. That skerred will give way to fatigue pretty fast if it is like my experiences.
I do wish you good luck. Millis was an option I had looked at, but was already committed to my school by the time I found them. I am happy so far, but it IS early, so we will see how it goes. -
Thanks bigcove. The problem was my heart rate was too high after the step exercise. That was before my doctor put me on toprol for the heart rate and I recently had him increase the dosage. I've been working out and monitoring the rate. It's been really good so I know I will pass the test. Been anxious to get back to driving and teaming with my husband.

grc and gypsy, My best to both of you. It can be rough at times, sometimes a couple or three times in a row. I really believe things happen for a reason, so no real whining on my part.

Not really sure if this is appropriate or not, but who cares. Once I gain a little more composure, I'll be starting a new thread about what happened to me yesterday at Gary. Incredible in my book!!!!! -
grc...I am so sorry to hear about your current health problems. This is my first post here, but I've been lurking around here for a few months...followed your thread when you was driving for Roehl.I always admired your positive outlook and as someone who is considering trucking I appreciated your informative posts.
I just looked in the Schneider listing today and saw that you had a thread here...that's when I learned of your heart attack.
I wish there was something I could do to help you as you have helped a lot of other people through relating your experiences in trucking.May God help you through this and you and your family will definitly be in my prayers.
