Thanks. I've got about $4K in it so far and that's all parts. I'm pretty lucky to have a good friend who is letting me use his shop to fix up the truck. I wouldnt be able to pay someone to do all this work. I probably have over 150 hours in the truck so far, that is like $10K in labor at most shops and I've got lots more work to do. The labor is what adds up. Painting the truck will be expensive, I can't paint. LOL

You should be able to do most of the prep work for the paint. Ask the painter what u can do when you decide on who.

that steels weight must add up. I'm gonna have to use aluminum for deck plate and light bar cause I'm still gonna work the truck.

The truck has the Flex Air Suspension, I wish it had low air leaf. I was able to modify the rear suspension and get another 4" of drop out of it. I fabricated two air bag lower mounting plates and took an inch off the base of the air bags. Luckily, the air bags extends up to 21" so they easily raise the rear of the frame to a safe operating level for driveline angles and drivability. I will post some pics of the lower plates I made and the shortened air bag base.
