So had a bit of an interesting morning. I got woken up by a phone call from Kay here in NLR asking how long I was going to be on the yard. After I told her she let me know that the PR department wanted to take pictures of my load and truck because they needed glass pictures and they don't get glass trucks through the yard in NLR very often.
I met the photographer about 30 minutes later. She took a bunch of pictures of the load and then a couple of the whole truck and then finally a couple more of me with the truck. She said they will be using the photos for recruiting videos and stuff like that.
Finally finished my reset so now I'm off to NC to deliver this load. Should be there some time Tuesday afternoon. Apparently it's something they need urgently.

In the flatbed division training, were there any women by chance?
-

We occasionally have a woman come thru training but its rare. If they can hack it though they are more than welcome, just dont expect any more help than a man would get. Those kinds of flatbedders male or female dont last long, you gotta pull your own weight.
jomar68 Thanks this. -
I was just curious. I have thought about flatbed but not sure. I am a hard worker so that isn't an issue. Just not sure if I can do it or not... Still in school at this time so I have a little more time to think about it. I have working on lifting various items at different weights lately.
