I suppose it varies by division, individual and just blind luck, but I've seen 300~1100 take home. I can generally, reasonably expect to make 500~800 take home pay.
EDIT: Just to be clear, that's take home after all taxes and deductions, not gross pay.

I am leaning toward Maverick and have been for the last few weeks but Averitt called me today. I am 5 miles from their Knoxville terminal and they get home weekly. I really feel that Maverick is the best choice overall for me and seems to have better miles overall. The companies are both top notch that is why it has been difficult in this decision process with great equipment, benefits, people, & etc. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Good choice, I don't know anything about Averitt, but I can tell you that Maverick is an excellent choice to work for.
