I missed that "comparable to other coatings" statement on their website? I did not know it was comparable because their process has a patent.

Give them a call before you decide. They have dropped their pricing since they are doing alot of trucking stuff now.

Just something I took from their engine bearing flyer. I will call to be sure.

Still a skeptic. If I take a bearing and rough up all the contact surfaces with a file and another bearing untouched you couldn't tell the difference after they where installed which was which.

So how can you tell the difference between a micro polished bearing and an untouched new bearing?

The weight (as friction due to gravity) of the equipment and the viscosity of the lubricant is what resists movement in a bearing.

It is known that after the MB process users will switch to a less viscous lubricant which I suspect makes the difference in any consistent measurable amount of mpg improvement.

But there is money to be made as a MB purveyor. Just ask recent millionaire Mr. Turbo 3000 vada.

I can make my mpg range from the high 4s to the low 8s. You can bet yer booty if I shell out a pile of sheckels on a questionable fuel saving device I'm gonna justify the expenditure by driving with a light foot.

There are always the the praise singers and those shouting "Snake Oil".
Then there are credible products and real shams.
Knowing the difference is the trick.

Dice do you promise , cross your heart and hope to die that you are not paid to push this product?

    Yep.
That 2009 KW w900L pulling the reefer at 80k gross is now gone and I have bought a 99 w900L with a 3406E 2WS engine. The last quarter, 1Q2013, fuel mileage came out at 5.7 mpg on US gallons. This is running only the microblue bearings in 5 axles, with Canadian winter fuel, we have the high sulfur fuel and we don't need to add any anti gels or anything in winter. On any other truck I used to drive I always lost 1 mpg running Canada through the winter. This is the highest mileage that truck had seen, even with all of it's DPF problems. The DPF problems and talk of enforcement to begin with checking the emissions equipment was the final straw for me, it was either dump even more money into that truck and hope I don't get caught, or cut my losses and start over. I just picked up the 99 today[April4,2013] and it will be on the road by the end of next week. Runs great. I expect the mileage to be MUCH better even right off the bat than the previous truck. I like it more already. The plan is to establish a baseline mpg for 2Q2013, then begin adding the MB bearings again, transmission, and rear end. I am MUCH more comfortable doing this with this truck because it doesn't have mood swings based on what the DPF is whining about at the current moment. When the time comes I am considering having a custom built 3406E to replace the engine in it now, with complete MB treatment. That is hopefully a year or 2 down the road.

    Good deal.

My Microblue treated wheel bearings and rear ends have around 200,000 miles on them and the Microblue treated transmission has around 150,000 miles on it with fuel mileage still like it was when the MicroBlue parts were added.

A MicroBlue treated in frame kit is definately on my list of to do items when it is time for it to be done.
