Hey "B", I have followed your thread since the beginning, and I enjoy it very much. So much that I had applied and been accepted to Millis Transfer. I "chickened out" though, and now I want to restart the process. I have some questions that I hope you will answer for me. I am in my mid- late 40's. You have been posting lately that the week has not been steller, or the miles have been low. How many miles are you getting now that its been a year later? Also, do you still think you have made the right choice by becoming a driver? Would you still recommend Millis Transfer? And ..... when you were still paying your student loans, how much per week were they taking out of your paycheck?
I thank you for your help with this. This is a HUGE step, changing careers after 23 years, as you know because you did the same. Would you do all of this again?
    Thanks guy, be safe.

WOW -it's been 2 weeks since I updated this - Sorry Man.

    1. Miles - that is a question that many are asking from week to week. The past few months have been up and down for me but have managed to stay close to 2800+ each week and then there are a few that are higher. It's been the most inconsistent since I have been out here.

    2. They deduct $10.00 a week for the hotel and $20.00 a week for the training.

    3. Have I ever thought I made the wrong choice? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am happy here and for the most part - taken care of. Every company has it's issues but compared to what I see and hear out here - we are well above most.

    4. Would I do it again - YES!

Hope that answers your questions - let me or anyone of the other posters know and we'll gladly get you an answer if we dont know.

Good to see your still keeping busy baritone averaging 2800 miles a week is not to bad for this time a year. I know the last 2 years i was there I was only averaging around 2500 miles a week but i was going home every other weekend if not every weekend.

I had the same thoughts myself. They seem to be doing z good job and easier to answer questions than detail my experiences which are getting redundant now.lol!
