Great - thanks for that. I am taking glass there. The pre-loaded trailer I picked up appears to have most of the weight at the end - so my tandems are #### near all the way back now. I'll move them the rest of the way before I leave in the morning.

I was able to get in a little stop at home and managed to get the truck clean and even put a coat of wax on her. Left home this afternoon and stopped in Charleston, TN for the night. Have an 8am delivery time and only 40 miles to go - so will get there early.

Hey guys. Getting ready to head over for my first day of school. Just wanted to give a shout out to Baritone. I find myself going back to the beginning of this thread again to see what to expect. Thanks again!

To clarify, you pay $2500 for the school AND $2500 for OTR training? If so, how do you pay it back?

yes. school is $500 up front and they take $20 per week out of your check for the remaining $2,000 at 0% interest. If you leave prior to 1 yr of service you also owe $2,500 for the on the job training. if you complete the year it is forgiven. If you default on repayment interest goes to 18%. And the motel is $10/week at 0%.

Day One is in the books and it went exactly as Baritone described at the beginning of this thread. There are two of us in the class and the other guy lives within 4 miles of the yard so I have a room to myself. Bill is our trainer. He said that we'll be bobtailing around the yard on Wed.

Baritone, Had to fill out paper application today and they asked where I heard about Millis so I put your name down, which is absolutely true, if it weren't for this thread I wouldn't be here now. I hope they send $100 your way for the referral. I still can't pm before 50 posts so I can't send you my name.

If my math is correct, $2000/$20=100(weeks). If you stay 1 year they call it paid or do you owe the balance?

They deduct the cost of the motel at $10 a paycheck which is weekly.
