Filled out my App today. Hopefully I'll get some good news this week sometime. Let the waiting begin......

Congrats on your acceptance and decision. Best of luck to you and maybe we'll see you out here on the road.

Thats great news!!!! Welcome aboard. Where will you train so we can look for you? I was snowed in at Ritchfield on Wednesday and met two new drivers that followed this and my YouTube page.
I get a big kick out of meeting so many new people.
I look forward to meeting you. Let any of us know if you have any questions.

Just happened to check in here on your updates Baritone - just missed you. I'll be attending at the Cartersville's yard (about 40mins from my house). I was thinking about going out there a couple of times in the upcomming weeks just to get a better idea for what's in store for me - you think they'd let me bobtail around the yard?? Untill then -

I'm looking for some cheap gear at local goodwills - found a water heater yesterday, $10; its not completely sealable (self-venting for steam no doubt) but the unit looks fairly splash/slosh proof and it's realitivly clean.
I've updated my post as well - bought a few items preemptively. I'll be sending you an e-mail soon and checking for more vids on youtube.
Keep up the good work! And, as always
Happy Trails. -
Greg is the trainer in Cartersville - you'll really like him. Doubt they'll let you bobtail since you're actually not hired until you complete the initial training and pass.
Good idea with the Goodwill. You'll save money that way.
Ill look for you if I'm through cartersville.

Any suggestions or thoughts on the initial training you would like to pass down? I've been studying more of my PT for memory but I'm more apt to learn with hands on; trying to figure the best approach for amount of inside to outside without recovering too much. I suppose my background with cars will help to some extent - I was always finding things that guest forgot when they'd bring back the loaners; sometimes damage to the outside they 'forget'. Most likey, I'll make a laminate of a check off that I carry on a small clipboard or spiral bound with a greese pen; not for my testing of course.

You will get plenty of practice on the pre-trip once you start training. Greg will suggest a good method of doing it. Take your time, don't over stress. It's not as intimidating as it appears right now.
Loken Thanks this. -
