    Update! Yay!

This is the current status of the truck:

Hood is off to paint, all of the wheels are polished and back on and torqued down.. hub covers/lug nut covers installed.. Old decals stripped off of it! This weekend the paint is getting buffed and other little things here and there.. Should be going in the shop next week for the hood to get re-installed and the power take off installed! My Dad said this thing should be on the road October 3rd and I can't wait! Thanks to everyone who has followed this little thread and supported me along the way! I really appreciate all of the kind words. :)

gokiddogo and Bean Jr. Thank this.

Power Take Off has been installed, also got the custom made hydraulic oil tank mounted. It's made to look just like the toolbox on the passenger side of the truck. It looks really cool! The hood and fairings will be painted and re-installed this week. It has been fully serviced and is ready to go mechanically. It should be getting lettered next Monday and I should be working in it the next day! I vacuumed it today and my dad cleaned all of the aluminum, besides the polished wheels of course. Got a two plate front license plate holder installed and polished the bumper quick. It's almost done folks!

Just an FYI, I've found that many times its almost the same price to replace the fifth wheel as an assembly as it is to rebuild it. The whole assembly isn't much more expensive and, assuming the pins come out without being a pain in the but, you're in it for about an hours labor once it's removed, installed, greased and adjusted.

I'm actually very positive that's what we are going to do. We are gunna run it for a bit the way it is now and eventually replace it!
