I will say that when I eventually became a "trainer" for May, I was in pretty high demand as a non-smoking trainer ;-)

I bet. You know anyone still there who's a non smoker? As good as Joker may be I can't see myself in that environment for a minimum of two weeks.

First off Camarrillo is not LA. Second I have been driving for 30 years and have always taken my truck home for every carrier I have driven for/ I worked for May back in 2003 I beleive and parked there truck right out side my door, always. I would not work for anyone who made you park 50 or 60 miles from home. Knight, England, Southern Cal, Swift, FFE, Roehl, Heartland, just to name a few let the drivers take the trucks home, there park around our town.

I left May mainy because they cheat driver out of money, like safety bonus. They like keeping pay complicated and hard to understand. Personally I would send my son to Swift before May. Good Luck and God Bless.

I worked for May for almost three years. They never cheated me out of anything. If there was ever a problem I needed resolved, I would take it to my OCM, Robyn Smith, she took care of it one way or the other. If my expectations were based on a misperception on my part, she would at minimum explain the misunderstanding to me.

    Paloma Thanks this.

I've never been cheated either. Theres this thing called communication, if theres something wrong speak up.i actually love Mays payroll. Ifi need a trip scanned in on thursday they'll do it.

Communication is the key for anything trucking. I never had a problem with payroll the 4 years I was with May. Just communicate if there is something wrong with yer settlement (pay check). Payroll is quick on getting issues solved. (See Joker, there are some good things I say about "No Pay, No Freight May"!)
