This reminds me of a time when I was at the Checker Nationals drag race in Phoenix many years ago. There were 2 teenage/early 20's girls sitting in front of us. Back then, you could still smoke in the grandstands. Well, to make a long story short, these 2 girls had no problem inhaling all the rubber smoke from the pre-race burnouts that drifted over the seating area, but when my buddy and I lit up a cigarette, they both turned around, looked at us, said, "eww cigarette smoke", and moved to a different location to sit.
Loving the loop. Left Tuesday got home yesterday home til Sunday afternoon. Living the good life over here at May.
Its nice to be home more now. I did 3 costco runs in a row. Tomorrow leave with a Home Depot run to Durango Colorado.
Nice. All drop and hook? I'm penciled in for orientation for May 28 at May. School starts April 22 at Sage in Grand Junction CO. I leave tomorrow for there. Stop in St. George Utah overnight then onto to Grand Junction on Monday. Yeah. I'm so excited.
No I sure don't. I want to be OTR for the first year. Gotta earn my stripes. It's good to hear what is possible.
Alot of people thought it was a fairy tale. I ran my butt off for May and now I'm rewarded for it so I'm glad. Its a good gig. But it's like the Marines, the few the proud the Phoenix loop ha ha. They don't just put anyone on it.
