My new adventure with Gordon Trucking

You don't believe in Santa? I can attest he is real. I just stopped by his place in North Pole, AK. He got a fancy place right along AK-2. You can look at the reindeers and he is a jolly fellow for sure. He even held my x-mas present from last year for me since I didn't manage to stop in when I was up there over x-mas. I am now enjoying my travels in a 2014 Peterbilt 389.

 

Well Talked to Tow today and he is running behind me. So Im stoping at some city I cant even pronounce let alone spell, Over by 54 and I 40 in NM. We are gonna hook up tommorrow for lunch or dinner or something like that. Got 500 miles to do and then drop this load tuesday morning so I have a bunch of hours to run.

Hope to stay down south for a few days and let the crap up north clear out.

 

You better hope to stay away from the I-81 and I-95 corridors this week then. There is a decent potential for a rather large wintry event up this way Wednesday and Thursday...

 

Saw a GTI pulling a Heartland trailer. First time since the merger.

Shoot. I had a security guard in Albuquerque ask me how to pronounce the name of my company which is Munoz. I was like OK man you live in New Mexico and don't know how to pronounce a Spanish name? Lol!!!

 

OK....so I FINALLY get out of KC and back to Pontoon yesterday. Put my truck in for APU fix, around 3/4 hours later I get a call from the shop and asking me if I am still in the area.....why? evidently they feel that my bunk needs to be completely cleared off as the tech doesnt want the liability of moving things around.....really???? The only thing breakable is my small flat screen TV....I'm sorry but I know my truck is far from perfect....but c'mon.....

Tow, saw one of your co-workers yesterday on 70 between STL and KC....also my ducks are nearly in a row if you know what I mean.....

Seems micro-managing has started big time too....not sure if I was the only one on the reefer fleet to get a message about speeding or not....
