I think Joseph found a new adventure,Tow!!!

 

I confirmed in the 5 minutes my APU works that the a/c does work, too. Which, of course, makes it not working all that much harder. I did not sleep well inside this 85 degree box, I'll tell you that much. Oh, well. Off I go to Texas.

 

I used to have a Volvo that would not idle. Until I figured out to set the trailer brakes and leave the truck brakes off and it would idle all day long. Maybe give that a shot. The Volvo was set to only idle for five minutes. It was a pain and we replaced the starter after 18 month due to restarting it all the time.

 

I've tried all manner of brake/power/idle/cruise combinations. Nothing works, so I sweat! And the trailer I was supposed to hook is out of service with a glad hand lock. So I sleep, too.

So.. for my first 10 days with my new ride I put $1600.00 in the bank. Not a bad start especially since the largest check I got in over the last month at gti was about $550 .

it's just about money. Not out here because I like living in a truck. Now I know there are those who make a lot more than that but I am getting too old to work that hard anymore... I am not lazy just done the whole back breaker thing already and that part of my life is behind me.

I am simply winding down towards retirement.. or the grave.. whichever comes first....

 

Sitting at the DEF pump waiting for 6 minutes to reset so I can get moving. This is an interesting place. As for Tow's money, it makes me happy to read that. I'm not making that much and while it's not about the money for me, it's a factor I'll keep watching, as I said before. If they won't fix the APU and won't pay much...

 

For some reason it is not showing the picture of my new ride. When I preview it's there but not showing up here..
