Well, he went from asking about getting into the industry to signing with a carrier in about 2 weeks. He latched on to Prime pretty quickly and didn't, from what I could see, ask about any other companies. Not saying that Prime is a bad company just that he didn't look to see what else is out there.

Hopefully he's just been too busy with his training to post anything these last 2 weeks.

I hope he can post soon, I've been considering Prime and was curious to how the training in the truck with his instructor has been.

It ain't a mill numbers. If you don't belong in the seat, you don't get through the program.

I'm from Cali and the way it was explained to me was, that during your training phase, your trainer will drop you off in your city when he's in that area for your home time. After training, you'll park your bobtail at home if it's secure. If not secure, I'm not sure if they'll let you park it at your local Wally lot. For me, Walmart is literally one block away from me, so they may tell me that is secure enough. You experienced truckers can chime in and help me out if you wish.
There is NO terminal in Ca, or even a drop yard around here. Someone did tell me there is a drop yard in Stockton, CA as well as they use "Knight" Transport drop yard in Fontana, but that is just here say, don't know if that is true.
