Yes, coffee drinkers, Pilot Flying J is out of the Sumatra coffee business. Permanently. Apparently, their supplier would not commit to a reliable supply schedule without an exorbitant price increase, so PFJ said 'no, thanks.' This facility was selling their remaining supply and I love the stuff, so I helped them out.

I don't know what I'm going to do with all of it since I don't have a coffee maker on board. Maybe I'll have to figure out a way to anchor one in here somewhere. After all, I do have a very big supply of the best coffee ever now!

I wish I liked coffee... I have tried and tried but could never develop a taste for it... fortunately I was able to acquire a taste for a great lager.. I can live with that....

    As a p.s.

Most of the coffee brewers do have hot water taps on them and no charge for water.

    Works for instant oatmeal also

The only problem, of course, is finding the water supply in a truck...

Check the shelves at the Truck stops for the 12v wand water heater.

Coffee brewers @ the truckstop have the tap (I may have not been clear long day Dallas to Las Cruces)

NOW I understand! I use their hot water to warm up my thermos and coffee mug. Doing that, I can keep the coffee quite hot for almost 36 hours.

I'm making my delivery in Bluffton, Indiana, where the OAT is 12 degrees and there are snow flurries in the air. How depressing after spending the last few weeks in warm, non-snow climes. One more pick nearby and drop in Lansing and it's home time for me...assuming I can find my house. Good thing I have GPS!

Stuck in Rialto/Bloomington/Riverside for the eve. Upper 70s outside.

The drive out was interesting 36 at sun-up in Dallas area. Warms up and clears up to be mid 60s in Pecos. Then freezing fog through the 10/20 merge. Then 200 miles further in Las Cruces it's low 70s at sunset.

Today was mostly uneventful other than AZ looked like they were doing one of their Harass the Truckers umm I mean "focused enforcement" days. About 20 CDLs were being indoctrinated into the CSA score pool. Mostly independents.
