DD, are they ever going to let you go home? Starting to wonder who you may have to "convince" that its time.

Fortunately for me (or not so), there is a checkbook that needs to be used to pay this and next month's payment to the State of Michigan. I told them I needed to be there NLT 5/17 and I'm on the way now. Once the truck is set up and stocked - not having my cheap fridge means buying food as needed, which is expensive - I'll be set. Then they can keep me out for 6 weeks; there's nobody home and being here means I don't use water, gas, or electricity there.

Speaking of setting the truck up, this is a photo of what I think is an airline coming out of the floor behind the driver seat. I want to install one of those air guns; is that something I can do with this attachment without cutting anything or killing my seat?

yeah, there should be a splice/fitting just under the flooring. push the outside rings in and the hose should come out, it's easy if you drain some of the air out of the system. The air gun kits have a T fitting that will replace it.

Edit: The fitting is somewhere along the line, i was thinking it was under the flooring but it's probably closer to the seat.

The photo. Doing this is quite challenging with an unreliable wifi signal!

And then there's the story of the driver who, thinking it's easier and quieter, decides to pull straight into a parking space and sleep. But when he awakes, ready to go, he discovers that 3 trucks have parked behind him, very effectively blocking is out-backing. All of a sudden, he realizes that truck stop parking spaces aren't designed to driven into and maybe backing in probably would have been better.

He sure is in a pickle, even though the guy next to him pulled out to help him.

The air guns you're talking about come with a T. You cut the air line somewhere between the floor and seat and install the T that goes to the gun.

    Its real simple to do.

I'm hesitant to start cutting lines in the truck. The company I work for isn't all that understanding of many things and I fear if I mess up they might not understand. I guess either I'll wait either until I gather the internal strength to do it - the line is quite accessible and it seems easy enough - or until I get to one of our terminals and have them do it.
