You should get a list of all the idle air locations...

Where about are you delivering? They are in CT. They will be taking a load of trash to OH next. Sounds like fun. I don't know how they get anywhere because they have stopped about every 3 hours today. The guy we know that he rode with before told him you don't want to stop more than you have to because its about 30 minutes + per stop. I guess as long as the delivery arrives on time it doesn't much matter how often you stop.

Well, it's not the only irritant. I had to pull head-in to hook up and during the night two other trucks backed into the adjacent spaces. So, with the trucks beside me and those behind me, I am blocked in, unable to get out. My delivery window is in jeopardy.

This has been a horrid week and I still have to fuss with JFK and, when I'm empty, go to Long Island to pick up bagged trash. Pretty much hating life now...

Must be a big day for trash! Maybe you will have a good drive. I don't know how good the rest of your day could be hauling trash!

Now they're going to SC with steel instead because they don't have a 53' trailer. I'd think that's something the DM should keep up with! I'd like to see what DMs do all day.

I thought the Idleaire attendant was supposed to assist you in backing out and get any truck blocking your way moved? I hope it worked out for you buddy.

That would do it for me if I was criminally inclined.

I have "successfully" completed the first half of my first NYC trucking escapade. I dropped 46,000 pounds of steel that will be used to lengthen, strengthen, and upgrade Runway 4L/22R at JFK airport. And I did it with inky one serious boo-boo...I followed the wrong pickup under drove my 78,000 pound vehicle on a part of the runway cement that was not ready for heavy weights. Oops.

And now I sit outside the recycling center because nobody told me they close at 16:00...and my yellow low-fuel warning light is on. But no worries; the day crew arranged for fuel 45 miles from here. Tomorrow. In NYC morning traffic. And the night crew...well, let's just say they're not that responsive.

I'm starting a pool to see when I will run out of fuel.

He wasn't there at 04:00. I finally did get out, 4 hours later. But I know this: I will never, ever again pull head-first into a parking space of any kind with this spread axle monster, IdleAir or not.
