    I confirmed that the showers at all Ohio Turnpike Service Plazas are open 24/7. You might get one that's been used before it was cleaned, but it will be open.

    Because of a screwed up unload at my last stop last night, puttting me well behind schedule, I had to do something I've never done before...and kind of liked it.

    I took my break on the side of the toll plaza just after paying at Plaza 24 in Chicagoland. I feel like a real trucker now.

    I try to never go near there unless I have most of a full set of hours. I have gotten screwed on every single stop.

    Well, imagine that. Another first for me.

    3,051 miles last week.

    It didn't seem like that much, but then again, I was in pretty much of a daze those dayz.

    Taking a 34-hour reset in a Petro on Daylight Savings Time Sunday, it occurs to me I probably have forgotten how to type. My contributions to my own page are woefully inadequate. 10 days between posts? I wonder why...

    This from a guy who prides himself on his use of language. Hah.
