My top bunk is unusual in that it folds up in half. The front bottom then becomes a wall to keep everything in. And it's already very full of stuff! Next hometime, I'll cull the herd, so to speak. Heck, I might even try sleeping up there...
My new, final resting place

I had a friend who always slept in the top bunk...
Not me... -
After pondering, I'm not ready to do that. It's pretty cramped up there, what with the roof being right there.

And here I thought I was the only one who did that ! Now I don't feel so alone.....

Sitting in the bobtail lot at a Hillshire sausage factory waiting for my clock to tell me I can hook to the trailer across the way from me and head for PA...on the few remaining days before July 4th weekend. Traffic already sucks according to Waze. Great.
Buy hey. Maybe I'm going where nobody else is. Well, except eastbound out of Chicago. It could happen...4mer trucker Thanks this. -

Now that I have a relatively new, low mileage truck, the last one I will get from WEL for a good long time, I think I need a new CB.
The inexpensive Bearcat 880 I bought years ago has outlived its usefulness. I don't need to get the top-of-the-line model or spend a house payment on one and I definitely do NOT want one that makes me sound like I'm talking in a toilet bowl or that has that infuriating reverb sound. I do want one with the weather channels.
Suggestions? -
I've got a brand new Cobra that's never been used. I've never run a CB, but when I bought my own truck, I thought I needed one. Tried to hook it up in my Cascadia, only to find out Cascadia's antenni don't really work (but they look good). I will happily send it to you at no charge with the promise that you will donate at least $50 to your local food bank or mission.
No joke.
Send me an address via PM and you'll have it by next week.rabbiporkchop, scottlav46, Swedish Chef and 2 others Thank this. -

What a deal. PM on the way, but check with your USPS on shipping costs. I only have a Post Office box, so don't use any of the package delivery services since they won't ship to a PO Box. Plus, I won't be home for at least a month, so you can send it as slow as it will go.
