You're right you don't have to have experience to start with Schneider, we do train. There are some rough trailers but I have seen rough trailers for every company except Altom. I would like to see more emphasis placed on the look of our trailers though. Repairs to fenders being first on the list. Maybe some new skin to replace the dents. I can dream.

When I got hired on with Schneider in January I wanted to pull tanks. I was told by my recruiter that I had to pull vans for 6 months before I could pull tanks. Have they changed policy or was I lied to?

Hows it going forum? I had my interview over the phone for an hour with Schneider today. And I was told up front about the dot test and the physical test upon arrival in AR next week. I was told if I failed the physical the job offer will be no more. 80.00 a day for three weeks of training and .30 per mile and I would be home every weekend. Now, I'm thinking I should find something else

Why? DO NOT believe everything on these threads here! I am at W Memphis AR right now and what they told you on the phone is EXACTLY whats going to happen. The physical test is a trivial thing and nothing to worry about. Unless you are morbidly obese and can't do squats. The total time for the test takes approx 20 minutes depending on how many they have to do.

Honestly if you are convinced by one thread and some people, many of whom have never worked for Schneider, then bye bye. You probably wouldn't last any way. Wow, the power of these boards.

Its not only the boards on here, when you read a 100 articles and 75% are bad gotta ask questions. Im looking for a company that I could retire from not a company that treat their employees like crap. I only put in two applications one for Halliburton and Schneider. Schneider called first. My driving instructors all recommend Schneider. I told the person over the phone I would be there in time for my physical and a I will. It is a mistake to try to look too far ahead. The chain of destiny can only be grasped one link at a time. SWC

You realize that 99% of the people on these boards come here for no other reasons than to complain? And if, using your number, only 100 out of the thousands at SNI are truly unhappy....well that's not bad at all. Check the company out, go talk to drivers you know work for the company...ie at the truck stop, make your own judgement, not let people on a board decide for you.
