no trucking company will give you ANYTHING in writing....

Concerning your list.... Give KLLM a look. I did 2+ years with them and enjoyed my time with them very much. They arent perfect.... no company is... but they treated me with respect.... and especially after this last Monday.... that is HUGE on my mind.....

Just wondering why you didn't go back to KLLM? I remember reading your posts about them, and you said you did real well.

You ought to shut your hole. You and your less than a yr of driving. Schneider loves suck ups. That where you work? Read the story. Their recruiters, like most large companies, lied to this man. Bait and switched him on Odessa job. By the way Odessa would never have paid more than San Anton and down into valley. They are just like Job Hunt and others who hold out one carrot and then when driver busts his butt to get there they switch hands and out comes the turd.

Stop working for these or applying to these big companies and it will save you a lot of stress and headaches the best companies to work for are small companies or o/o benefits might not be the best but you'll be a lot happier.

Romans, given your 2 YRS experience, your still wet behind the ears yourself.
    Time is a wonderful teacher.
I have 11 years, but list myself as a student.
Because we are always learning, and when we think we can stop, its time to get off the road and stay home.

I am glad that you were able to land on your feet, with your dog in tow. Its hard to have to move and then be forced to leave loved pets with strangers to boot.

    Coastline Thanks this.

First things first -I drive and train for Schneider bit I haven't drunk the orange kool-aide.

Bluesparrows word choice was extremly poor but the idea was apt. The physical prescreen test is mentioned prominently on the Schneider Jobs website and in the materails sent with the prehire letter. Its also mentioned in virtually everythread about SNI's orientation on TTR. The OP should have lnown it was coming and been ready for it.

A lot of guys don't pass the physical pre screen. Schneider does the test because people say "sure I acn do that, no problem", then go out on the road and either can't do it or get hurt. The test isn't perfect but it's pretty decent.

As to bait and switch I 'm not convinced. I think it was an honest attempt to help the OP make lemonade out of lemons.

I am sorry for the OP's experiance and am glad things worked out.

    either
