My One Hour Working for Schneider

I just left 17 months ago, and following the blogs and speaking to other drivers on the road, I'm glad I left when I did. NOW they won't even be able to get a cash advance on the road? What kind of a sick joke has this company become, at least for company drivers? (I've also spoken to more then several Choice Program O/Os who are loving it.)

 

While I am sorry this driver went through this, it is plainly stated on their web site, and also in the emails you get, that once at orientation you must pass a PWS(pre work screening) before you get hired on. This was also told to me not only by my recruiter from the oc I work out of, but by the people from green bay who called me before I left to go to orientation. I see no reason for him, nor anyone else, to complain. It was his choice to pack up and go not knowing for sure he had a job.

I was company for 3 years n 04 to 07 and did choice for 2 weeks last month before handing their keys back to them. It's as big a joke in IC as it was in company. Ever since don Schneider died that Chris lofgren has turned this company into his personal slave mill filthy rat face

 

Schneider is famous for lagging behind on stuff. They let 3 guys go n the first day of our orientation in IC because of some issues they found out later. Sorry ####### I don't blame this guy one bit

 

Your one of the few who didn't like choice. What didn't you like?

 

If you want a driving job in Midland/Odessa area, just go there and drive around a bit. You cant make it a mile without seeing ads for CDL drivers wanted on the oil yards. If that doesn't work, they pay $20/hr to work at Pilot or McDonalds there because of the boom.

 

I didn't like their truck as it broke down on me 4 times first 3 days and the dealer found large chunk of exhaust pipe was cracked. Something they claimed they did a dot inspection n before giving me the keys. Liars. Then they wanted me to cover half. He'll no what am I a sucker?

the choice program itself is fair. Nothing to brag about as the landstar one and few other choice boards are about the same in terms of load choices.

i personally July went there due to their offering a lease truck otherwise landstar is all owner op loads and only a fool would believe a company with company trucks would give equal choice on light loads to ics.

I hate to give you the bad news here pal . Are you saying here that the driver is at fault and he or she should have better manners or better morals the that corporate scumbags where do you get off here you are expecting a TRUCK FREEEKIN DRIVER to know better. What are you smokin DUDE

Yes we have lots and lots of not so worthy drivers but that is because of the piece of crap so called educated schmucks that work for butt hole trucking like your Schneider
