I always recommend that if you can afford to fly there its well worth it. TMC will refund you up to the total cost of the bus trip. 26+ hours on a bus is nuts. Plus when I was there the bus got in late Sunday night/Monday morning. Flying in can get you there Sunday morning and give you time to relax so your fresh early Monday morning.

 

Ugh that food was just no good there. Free but not good. I was happy to leave Iowa! LOL my trainer keeps on teasing me because we have to stop there in the next 2 weeks to get the tractor serviced!

omg a 26 hour bus ride i am glad i flew
the transam recruiter said it was cheaper to fly but bus tickets are refundable apparently some people don't show up
my airfare was repaid in first check southwest wink the bags are free
