Flatbedding? I have thought about that if things get too ####ty with the elogs. You thinking about getting your own rig or just driving company? Good luck.

Gonna give their big "bad" lease a try. They have year lease that is basically a rental. Not a purchase. After the year I can re-lease for another year lease or buy the truck or do their lease purchase deal. I like the idea of controlling my own business. Not being micro-managed like you know where. I know sleeping in my own bed has been nice every night but i'm home only to sleep. Hoping this is a good step. I plan to run my but off.

Well the old loaner I got is a really good one. Going to try and keep the old Cummins as my regular truck once I get back to the terminal. Just busting out all the miles a guy can stand lately:) Doing two new drops for me in New York. Going to take the northern route through the Upper Peninsula instead of going through Chicago on this trip. Never had a chance to cross that bridge near Mackinaw City so going to get that done.

I used to live up in th UP. Just one word of advice make sure you do the speed limit across the bridge 20mph they watch it closely. It's a suspension bridge if you speed it will cause wave or bounce whatever you want call it.

Thanks for the heads up brother. I really enjoy driving in Michigan just very rarely get to go through the UP since we can't cut through Canada here.

So your company is nothing like old Roehl days when they'd send us through Canada every chance they'd get. Which would not let me sneak through the house in NW Pa. Always annoyed me. Made them pretty upset a couple times. When I took my toll route in the states instead. Oops...

Well got the first drop knocked off this afternoon. Always a fun time when the directions involve drive through a swampy area, travel over a rickety bridge, look for an old stone house on the left and we'll be waiting on you at the red barn:) Also would help when road signs were replaced when one side of them was totally unreadable due to weathering but alas that is why they pay us the big bucks:) Holed up the at cluster #### pilot in Syracuse, NY tonight with about 90 miles to finish off this load in Evans Mills tomorrow morning. Still no word from BH yet but I only have 7 or so hours available tomorrow so should be a tranquil day.

Reloaded out of Buffalo yesterday and wow what an obstacle course to get into the place. Of course the broker directions didn't get the job done (led into a 11'4" bridge). Second bad news is it delivers to Del Monte Foods on a Saturday so I couldn't drop it at the yard and also DMF is usually #### show getting unloaded. So I just requested a load home after that to Vegas to unwind for a few days. Hopefully they get me a straight shot home and not some drops in Phoenix. Probably going to take a week or so off as I am a little worn down.

Buffalo NY can be quite fun in a van. They love to use 12-6 signs even tho it's really 13-6. Used to run around there a ton. Got a couple guys that know it and have had their assistance a few times. Enjoy your relaxing.
