I second that notion about las vegas jobs and horrible pay. TCI leasing spams craigslist with a dedicated run from las vegas to kingman, az. $17 an hour no overtime. I went regional/otr again and make $1300 a week.

The pay is nowhere near enough for the cost of

Well no love on the Utah runs next week but got a run into Sumner leaving Tuesday and delivering Thursday. Oh well a few more days off at the crib organizing #### and drinking a couple of cervezas.
speedyk Thanks this. -
Gonna be hard to get those salt lake trips. -
First day in the books. Rolled out of Vegas under the cover of darkness. Stopped at Mt. Home and fired up the grill with some chicken thighs. Probably roll out real early tommorow so have some easy parking in Ellensburg, Washington and finish up with a couple of hours to Sumner on Thursday morning. Truck running like a champ so all is well on that end.

Well haven't missed a beat. Unloaded in Sumner and then deadheaded 450 miles to Payette, Idaho to pick up a load of onions. Just dropped that off in GP for a 900 diff and rolling back out tomorrow for Cheyenne. A shade over 3400 miles for 6 days. Only have 13 hours left over the next two days but my load doesn't deliver until 1330 on Wednesday. Hopefully roll over to Green River after that.
tucker Thanks this. -
Blame load still not ready. Was supposed to be ready by 1300 and still no activity on the dock. Luckily I have plenty of time on this delivery. Supposedly have a BH picking up in Green River which is good but delivering back to Tulsa. Hope to get that knocked off on Friday afternoon but still not primo as likely won't be able to get on the OB board until late in the game for Sunday which will likely suck but lots of time and miles between then and now.
tucker and radioshark Thank this. -
Load didn't get ready until 1am which sucked but at least no traffic when I rolled out of DFW . Didn't get the BH that I was anticipating which is fine because the new one works out better hopefully for getting on the OB board. Got good hours left to pick up the best load available.

Didn't get a Friday trip which I suppose was fine as it turned out. Some young kid working for an oil outfit managed to find a way to hit my truck in a nearly empty truck parking lot with a good 40 acres to maneuver. Luckily no real damage just wasted time filling out paperwork etc.
Selected a 4 stopper ending at a mom and pop in Mount pleasant, Michigan. Not max miles but keeps me out of the south with the weather and I like the Michigan trips for the most part with some decent back hauls.
If it isn't some asswipe blocking up the fuel lines it's some fools taking 40 minute showers with a line of drivers waiting. Three such ######## at the dallas loves tonight simultaneously inhabiting the showers. Every day older I get the more I hate people.tucker Thanks this.
