Running as hard as the load board has allowed me to run thus far and that hasn't been particularly hard but still turning decent miles. Averaging a shade over 3K miles a week over the first four weeks. That bodes well for a nice yearly total. I don't take home time much so should be aiming at a 145-150K mile year total. At 150K that puts me in the realm of the low 90ish gross which ain't too shabby.

Had some nice egg plants and peppers in my garden when I returned. Going to try and rustle up a nice egg plant Napoleon dish this afternoon fueled by a couple of cervezas and some home made sour dough bread.

Another week another no loads available for the day I put my name on the board for out of poly Carolina. That makes 4 out of the last 6 weeks that has happened which didn't use to be the norm by a long shot. Pulled up a bit short tonight from my delivery in Charlotte tomorrow since I don't have to be in a hurry as my load to Uxbridge, MA won't be ready until Wednesday. Looks like I will eventually get my own truck to help alleviate problems like this but for now have to make the best of it. Still managed to turn just under 3k miles in 6 days so guess I can't complain too much.

    Week 1 (3445 miles, 1 p/u)
    Week 2 (3194 miles, 2 drops)
    Week 3 (2636 miles, 6 drops)
    Week 4 (2828 miles, 3 drops, 2)

    Week 5 (2994 miles, 1 drop)
    10/2 home
    10/3-10/4 Henderson nv -- SLC, UT --- 544 miles
    10/4-10/6 Slc, UT -- Farrwest, UT -- GP, Tx --- 1398 miles, (1 drop)
    10/6-10/8 GP, tx -- Charlotte, nc --- Chester, SC -- 1052 miles/ca. 1160 miles

    Week 6
    10/9 - GP, tx -- charlotte, sc -- Chester, SC --- ca. 108/ca. 1160 miles
10/10-10/12 Chester, SC -- Uxbridge, MA --- ca. 850 miles

Well at least a decent back haul. First trip to Carolina Poly was a cluster ####. Those guys are not on point. The only bright side I suppose was I qualified for layover pay due to my load being 9 hours late being loaded. Still averaging 3000 miles a week so I suppose things are ok but nothing like last year.

Well 5 of 7 weeks now where there was no load available or it was running way behind getting loaded. Got the call this morning that my load won't be ready until tomorrow. Also that they were trying to reschedule it which I told them not to do as I will have a reset in and can easily drive 1300 miles in two days, hope they don't screw that up with some stupid delivery time which messes up my weekend running. Also if anyone has run this load recently to Garysburg is that little lot right off the interstate still open to park in, thanks for the help.

I never really paid attention to that little lot. It's been a while since I've been. I usually just stayed at the loves right there in va.
That load is usually a early afternoon or evening delivery and lately has been a role back to Carolina poly. Before Carolina poly that was one of the better loads. Now Carolina throws a wrench into things. I only like going out there on certain days of the week if I can help it.

    majestyk Thanks this.

The little lot off the exit is no longer available. Still waiting on back haul to call which sucks as loads for Monday are probably gone in a short bit.
