Yup. Their is a bit of a gap behind the drivers seat, similar to the full size cascadia.

Just check out the pics in DTBs album. Thats the pics of JCWs truck, his inside is the same as mine. I'm kind of lazy. :biggrin_2559:

    As DTB said.

If you are company, Prime pays for the APU. Their is about a month waiting list though right now.

I believe with the CPAP, as she said, you will be at the front of the list and they'll try to get you either in a truck with an APU already or get your APU done asap.

hey seebs it won't matter that much for you since you are company cause you can get DEF in the bottle iff it ain't at the pump. We plan our fuel stops around def at the pump locations. If you do the map thing for fuel prices the ones that have an * by them have def at the pump. We also keep two bottles onboard just in case. We could buy it in the bottle but it is like 13.00 buck for 2.5 gallons. VS 2.60 a gallon at the pump so we refill and reuse.

The main ingredient in the stuff is urea so I call it horse piss.

u2 ip or one of the others I got a question along this line. I just started playing with the fuel macro and it has three boxes for services. What are these for? Like DEF WASH SCALE? if so what are the codes?

    Thanks

They are listed somewhere in the fuel book. However, I highly recommend not putting anything in those spots. It will prioritize finding the services over finding cheap fuel.

Also, if nothing has changed in the past 5 years, in a company truck, the MAC27 won't look at anything you put in other than fuel level. So you can put in services and a route thru point all you want, but unless your FM has opened up the MAC27 for that load for you, all it will look at is the fuel level.

    From the fuel book

The codes are on page 8 of the fuel book.

And I really recommend using the fuel page on the website to plan your fuel stops if you decide to lease. Macro 27 is rather conservative... its really set up to keep the company guys out of trouble. Frequently its wanted to send me to more expensive stops than the one I preselected from the web page.

Truck has an air suspension switch near the fifth wheel slide. Anyone know what this is for? Someone told me it dumps the air bags. Only reason I could think of was for towing.

We were on the pad two weeks ago and an instructor with a 2012 cascadia said that the new trucks have a switch that dumps the air bags she said she uses it when she is dropping a loaded trailer/a trailer in general it makes it smoother when driving from under it and you don't have to wait for them to balance back out

If they are dumping their airbags when dropping the trailer doesnt it make it harder for the next guy who comes to pick up the trailer? For the most part it sounds like a lot of people dont use that switch or even have it, so they will probably have to get out and use some muscle and crank that trailer up to get under it now that it is so low.
