if you get your 'id card' you passed your interview.

if security shows up at your door, you failed the drug test.

 

yes thats what i mean. that means you passed the employment check and such usually.

if you are still there by friday then you passed the background, medical, and drug test.

 

if you're lucky. we only had a small handful of guys leave on friday, most got out on monday and theirs still a few of us hanging around.

 

Well finished my sleep test on Monday. The test was not the most pleasant thing ever. Trying to sleep with 40 cords attached to you and things put up your nose is not very easy. Still got red marks on my chest from pulling off the tape and such.

Got my card today as they were too busy yesterday to finish my paperwork. So I got to spend some time on the pad which in a nut shell is just 7 hours of doing the pretrip over and over (in 100+ weather). I was kind of hoping we'd get some truck time, but seems nothing happens till you actually get an instructor.

Anyway, now just relaxing in the ac, trying to get rid of my heat headache, enjoying my tea and old tv shows.

Hopefully i'll find an instructor tomorrow. Would love to get out on the road.
