Id prefer a full size truck but it isnt a deal breaker. But .41 cents a mile is awesome for a newbie.
-
I know, .41 is the highest I have heard of for anyone that is brand new. How about this. Would you drive a smaller truck if you were paid $100 a week? $5,000 a year for being in a smaller truck?

I plan on bringing my dog with me half of the time. Hes about 40 pounds, medium size but he will either ride in the passenger seat or sleep on the bed most of the time. Thats my only concern but I think it woukd be alright. Do they have the option of taking the passenger seat? That would add a lot of free space for a fridge or cooler and a place for the dog to lay. I dont plan on having passengers really.

I am in a LW Prostar, pics are in the thread near the beginning. I have plenty of room; more than a LW Cascadia.

dunno if uve answered this question but dom they have any kind of BMI test at orientation? im thinkin about looking into prime
-
Yes they do. Not sure of the actual numbers but they will send you to do a sleep study if your bmi and neck size are a certain measurement
Marky84 Thanks this. -
Yes, I have, and yes they do.
It's part of the physical. Fail BMI and you go for the sleep study.Marky84 Thanks this. -
Do they make you get your DOT physical done before they send you to orientation?

JimmyBones,
How hard is it to get home? Do you live near a terminal? I was told the closest terminal was in Salt Lake. I am in California near LA. Will they have a hard time getting me home? Right now I am looking into local options but as far as big companies go Prime, Schneider, and Con-Way are where I am leaning although Con-Way has not responded to me.
