I never had any problems sleeping while the truck was going. If your a light sleeper it might be tough.Never had a tv in the truck but that would of made things better. Most deliveries are not bad, i have been in some very tight places where you have maybe 6 inches on each side but not offten. YOu might go to some real crap holes though lol. I have never chained, almost got stuck going up flag staff east bound, and they shut the roads down sometimes. I have only had to blind side back one time, that was not fun.

Ant, as a student, if you have time for tv during your PSD phase, you might consider another profession. That phase is meant for hitting the books and preparing for your tests and career.
Once you're solo, and some during TNT phase, you'll find a dozen different ways to entertain yourself, though if you absolutely must catch first run tv shows, the Internet or a satellite system is what you'll need. Otherwise, DVDs or downloaded movies are the name of the game.
I personally am partial to old fashioned books, though I do watch the occasional movie. -
Hi JB, Oh gosh no! I had no plans of watching TV during training! I was thinking way down the line when one has gone solo. Was just wondering how you kept yourself entertained. The only show I'm hung up on is Deadliest Catch....other than there isn't much on tv that interests me that much. Thank you for posting the pictures of your truck and the interior. It was great to get an idea of what ones living quarters look like. Very nice!!

No worries.
It has actually evolved a little since then. Added a couple more things and subtracted a few others.
On another note, Dispatch has asked me to go PSD trainer. Considering it. -
Good for you! I'll bet there would be many requests for you!

Doubt it.

Hi JimmyBones, does Prime have many woman drivers now? A bit off topic but would appreciate your comment. Thanks.
-
I'd say more than average, because the company is built on mutual respect, but the percentage of women to men is pretty small, as is the norm for the industry.
I haven't met any disgruntled or gross lady truckers yet in the company. Here's a Prime L/O truck driven by a lady trucker.
fr8te_sh8ker Thanks this. -

If met quite a few happy women truckers while in the first week of psd. A lot of couples driving team too.
fr8te_sh8ker Thanks this.
