I was looking through the photos that are on this thread, was looking through companies that hire experienced OTR reefer drivers in my area, and came across prime. I hasn't considered it before because the last 12 years ago I have had the "anti- mega company" bug after getting burned by in hunt years ago when they started their "look we can be like a small company too!" Campaign ( you know where they stopped requiring the "buster brown" uniforms and started getting rid of the cabovers), and pretty much stayed with a couple of much smaller companies, how ever I learned with my current company that smaller isn't always better. The pics of the millennium complex made an impression... Billiards room, gymnasium, even a cafe?? Looks a hell of an improvement over the "pumpkin yards" I went to back when I started driving 18 years ago, it seems like prime has a pretty good program for driver support growing based on what I read on the other prime threads, and unlike other big companies, not a lot of the negative threads like the mega's have. I've been considering prime and a couple of other companies, this percentage system(company driver),along with constant staff turnover, and the secretive, backbiting atmosphere at my current 200-truck outfit has been driving me up the wall lately. I figure I'd have to get used to being forced into NYC& canada, running HM, and doing forced dispatch lol (j/k, correct me if I'm wrong), but what I've been reading about prime's driver support has me thinking of coming there.

Lol I funny, I used to regard prime and other equal sized companies as just revolving door training companies, but from what I've read on here, and noticing the lack of negativity like on the Werner, swift, etc threads, it seems that Prime pretty much shattered my idea of " training companies", and my current company is proving that smaller companies ain't always better, I'm seriously thinking of giving prime a shot. I just have to decide the right time since I've had kind of a full plate in the last couple of years with my personal life.

About half of the drivers at Prime have better than 1-year experience, and there are a number of folks with well over 20-years at Prime still driving here.
