My recent experience with QUALITY LEASE PURCHASE and CELADON

So how many of you were new Drivers?

 

I have been in the industry for three years, I am thinking to go to work for Celadon but not sure still, any recommendations ?

 

its a bad company to work for ? it seems they pay pretty decent than others companies ?

 

The whole lease purchase thing only works for maybe 10% its a total scam developed to pay the carriers Truck PMT its been discussed on here to many times.... It's a losing proposition I don't get it. why why why are people still doing this.

 

There are a few leases out there that work, very few. Most times drivers are not reading the small print or are assuming the company will look after them. I never understood why drivers lease with companies that do not allow picking your own loads. Why have a dumb dispatcher controlling your money and future??

 

Celadon have a load board now, I am considering move there ...

Do they pay mileage or %?
How many miles a week can they offer consistently?
How many days do you have to stay out?
Benefits plan?

 

I would recommend going to Dart I was there for about six months and it's not a bad company
