You've got to call. There could be any number of reasons why he hasn't called you. i.e. Family emergency/leave, he accidentally checked you off as being good to go, etc. They either want to employ you or they do not want to employ you. You need to figure out which it is so that you can move on, as it still sounds like you're pretty fixated on them. Your worries about this issue could be put to rest with a two minute phone call to their recruiting department. If this is a case of your recruiter having his head jammed up his ***...a brief phone call might be able to fix the situation.
If you can't be instant approved you become a low priority applicant for the company ,this means YOU have to constantly call them back since they will always move onto people they KNOW they can hire , Now I'm not saying they won't eventually get back to you but it can take some time ,unless your US express they told me they couldn't hire me then sent me like 3 phone calls and a billion emails about how I should consider US express for employment......
Myself, I call twice and leave a message. If there's still no response... I'm on to greener pastures. Took 2 phone calls to get my current gig. First was to another company that didn't return my call. Second was to current boss. To be honest, I'm glad the first guys didn't call back. I'm stupid happy here.
Started training with them in Nov, they never got my results back from my back injury, so I was medically DQ (after getting my Permit)
