She really wasn't in that bad of shape, a complete new lending gear with crank handle on the left side, and a new paint job is all that is really needed, doubt that they would invest that into it though, it has some history apparently, it was a Willig and West Ex trailer at one point .

I’ve pulled a few pups in my first year with Saia as a LH driver and haven’t hooked one anyway near as sketchy as that one.

Hey now, our 20 year old former AF and Watkins trailers have a certain classic, nostalgic look to them!

p.s. i used to use those types liftgates when i did food, and i actually prefer them because they fold/unfold automatically.

There really isn't any need to. I'm hourly. Looking like I'll finish this pay period with about 50 hours. Go from there.

They pull a hell of a lot better than the captive beam trailers do lol.

I never really understood all the fuss about those. I’ve pulled them loaded and empty, front and rear, and never noticed a difference. Only problem I have now is they’re sometimes removing the beams but not taking the “C” off the trailer number. When I see those trailers, I like to be able count on them being about a grand heavier than the weight on the manifest.

For me, the P44444C type trailers more often than not seemed to off track considerably or wiggle a lot. I got to pull a handful of brand new P4xxxx trailers that were never built with the captive beam system.
Even with my slight grievance to handling on the C trailers I always looked for them to run as empties because I liked running visibly newer stuff.

Well, you did it, you absolute mad lad. I hope this move pays off in the long run for you, though. Good luck on your latest endeavor, sir.

"About" 50 hours is NOT 50 hours. We need exact numbers.

    POST 'YO CHECKS.
