Haha what a bad way to start! Don't worry things will get easier. Time with your trainer will seem like it goes on forever but once you are out from under your trainers thumb you will miss the decision making he/she does for you.

I guess man. I am just frustrated. I am ready to get going and I am being forced to sit here and stew on it. If anyone is stopping by the Gary terminal tonight, swing by I am in bunk room 1.

    Hey man,

We all are forced to sit sometimes. You have to keep in mind this job is not perfect.

    Be patience.

I know this is already wearing down your patients but unfortunately this won't be the only time things take forever.

What ever division you run (I think I know which one) you will run into a wait time or two. Dry box is crazy wait times, and in situations where your waiting to be loaded or unloaded patience is required. Because the more you bug them because of your impatience then the longer it takes them.. Or it could make the actual process feel longer then what is was.

I hope that makes senses. Made senses to me but I've been in your shoes so I understand where your coming from.

If the word is misspelled, blame iPhone!

Yeah you have to love iPhone auto correct. I understand waiting as I did a ton of it in the Army. I am more mad at the process in which trainers are assigned. Oh btw I am a flatbedder.

Yeah flatbed trainers are hard to come by. I'm on a waiting list, they don't have any condo trucks until January.

Well I'm finally out of Gary. Now if my trainer will let me drive I will be good.

I was driving the first day my trainer picked me up. I didn't get to drive all the time, but everyday he made sure i had 6 hours on duty to get me paid.
But hey your on the road be thankfull for that. pretty soon you can test out and be on your own.

Been away a while sorry, my trainer and I dropped off a couple of loads in Russellville. We are now headed back to Gary to get a headlight taken care off. My trainer let me take my 10 hour break at home last night since its on route.
