That's generally your FM, unless you see things like "APPT MADE" on the the preplan, or a delivery time that is way out of proportion to distance, Roehl generally commits to what day they're delivering,
that is likely just how your FM interacts with her drivers, she's probably rather new, that will soon be replaced with unmitigated rage. While I left in July, my beloved FM, was on the "Condescending/ Assume your drivers never made it to high school" interaction plan. Like anywhere you'd work, your coworkers and bosses are going to have personality traits that you're just going to have to learn to see past, or ignore.
Well, whereabouts would "Home" be? If you live within' spitting distance of Gary, there's little reason for it to be a problem. if you live in South Florida, I can see their problem.
I'm pretty confident, that is not the case. You'd really have to be making an effort to piss someone off. Punishment generally comes in the form of them sending you repeatedly to a place they know or believe you can't stand being at.skyviper73 Thanks this. -
Yeah...haven't posted enough yet to reply in private message, sorry. Finally got on the road late yesterday afternoon.

Wow, it's been a while. I have been really busy. They like to give me 600 mile runs that have be be delivered at 0700, so my day normally starts at 0230. (like today) I am in flat bed paradise Gary Indiana. This time though, I didn't have any issues. I guess it's because I get to stay in my own truck and play Xbox when I'm not doing anything. I dropped off some sheet steel at a place called Olympic Steel here in Gary, and that place was fun to find. I am now on a relay load that doesn't deliver unti Monday, but my routing takes me right by my house so I will be catching my reset at home!
-
i got there at about 1 pm and got offloaded almost instantly. I am at gary picking up a relay and possibly getting my truck fixed. Though if they dont touch my truck by 10 am i have orders to leave.
-
I'm sitting in Gary now, we just dropped a relay load and should be headed to Marshfield tom.
-
Did you drive under that bridge? i sure as hell decided not to risk it and went around.
-
Olympic steel in Gary? That train track bridge is marked 13ft 1in right? I took the dirt path around it.. What a miserable half ### built road that was. I had my FM ask me for directions for the next lease op going there.
However when I left there was a KW with a studio sleeper and a conastoga trailer that went under it just fine. Idk what all his heights were though.
(I didn't follow still took the dirt road around again. Don't trust it regardless.) oh and i took that right following the central recv signs. What a joke! Darn customer is there there but that sign really mislead me. -
I read the sign as 12 foot 1 inch maybe i missread it. but i was like hell no dirt path here i come.
-
Yeah I also played it safe and went down the dirt road. (no pun intended) I didn't want to risk anything. I was already late because I couldn't find the #### place, and then got stuck by 3 trains.
