Yes I understand that. An update, day 4 is over and we have lost 2 guys with one going home today for poor shifting. The trainers did all they could to help the guy but he just couldn't shift well enough to get off the yard; I wish him and his family well. Not to brag but I shifted really well today. My trainer showed me how to double down and triple down and I was hitting this pretty well with very little grinding to no grinding. We got a lot of driving time today and drove in a lot of traffic. These guys really know how to teach! I am really impressed and happy I went to Roehl as of right now everyone seems to be friendly and they like to cut up and take the edge off all of the pressure you are under.

i thought about this when driving today. if you didnt sign up for a TA card go online and fill out the form asap as it takes them along time to send it through the mail. or u can do it at a TA kiosk thing. if u end up fueling there u can ask the people at the counter to print out your card. have to go inseide to pay but at least u will get points. pilot and flying j u can get the same day at the store though when you sign up.

Sorry I have been busy debating (friendly) the presence of god with fellow classmates. I have a quick update. I passed my road test and had my picture taken for my employee badge, BUT I was told I haven't made it yet. We worked on backing pretty much all day; our trainers (Cory & Joe) made us back all the way around the terminals training track while placing cones in different locations. We had a good day and we are still sitting at 6/8 people still in the class.

Hey Guys, I am new here, also I'm a new Grad. I have a question about Roehl... Did any New Grads when they got thier prehire have to take a survey? Non Medical just about respecting the police and proper lane changes, respecting other drivers and so on?

Hey NewGrad, which fleet are you looking at? Where do you hope to attend training? Where is your hometown (don't see it on your profile.)
Welcome to the forum! -
Quick update- I passed the road test and all other test required. I will be an official Roehl employee come Monday. National Flatbed. I plan on keeping the thread alive through out my Roehl career so people can see the highs and lows of the company. So far, the only low is the hotel it's not bad but could be a lot better. Training was fast paced go go go and the instructors were really good and loved to cut up and always keep you thinking. So far I am proud I have made it this far.
Bigdubber, russellkanning, DrtyDiesel and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hey Guys, I am from Duluth,MN. I got my CDl about a month ago. I was thinking about Roehl but I heard about some survey that was kinda dumb. I was just wondering if any of you guys had to take it.
Roehl is one of my first pics, I want to get going though soon. -
