I am in Gary Indiana, and no we haven't had vouchers in two days. I don't think it would really matter if we did. Zantee's won't deliver to our hotel and we don't have transportation to get anywhere.
I would make a phone call and make sure they understand the situation, I am pretty sure someone dropped the ball somewhere, Roehl typcally treats drivers alot better than that, you may have to go hang out in the yard all day to be able to use the car but I am pretty sure they will figure somethying out to make things better.
So far this is my only complaint. I spoked to my trainer today and he will be picking me up in the morning. I am ready to get out of this hotel. I will finally get to drive for a living come tomorrow.
The one thing i miss about being with a trainer, is tarping is so much easier with two people. But I am getting faster the more i do it by myself.
Well I guess I am odd man out. I am the last of my class not with a trainer. We have 2 guys from my class that have been out 5 days now. I guess I angered the trucking gods but my trainer was supposed to pick me up from the Gary terminal this morning, but he decided to make a last minute change and bypass Gary and head north or Chicago to deliver a load and leave me sitting outside waiting for him all day.
That sucks about the last minute change to deliver the load. I was the last of my class to go out with a trainer as well. but it will happen. Sucks i know i hated waiting as well.
Look at it this way the company is paying for the hotel room everynight you wait. So its costing the company money as well.
