If you wear glasses, bring an extra pair. And extra pens, with 2 in your pocket at all times, plus 2 paper towels folded up in your back pocket AT ALL TIMES. you'll understand why when you hit a restroom and gotta go real bad.....And there's no toilet paper ! It will happen

Pens are for writing down info/directions etc, which you will do from time to time. Imagine this , finally getting thru to the consignee after doing the press 1 stuff, then writing down the directions, then your pen runs out of ink 1/2 way thru the recording...do you get it now ?

Those who write on bathroom walls, roll their ... never mind!
ALWAYS keep pen and paper handy! You never know when you will need them! Directions, phone numbers, miles, log books, tickets ... did I mention phone numbers? Now where did I put her number ... and they do run out of ink at the most inopportune moments, especially in bad weather.
Just saying! -
Just those two tips together.... well I had to laugh.
in addition to having mulitple pens handy and within reach I also have those little pocket sized flip note pads and a mini legal pad notepad for directions , load specific notes etc.. -

I use these purex laundry sheets. No liquids to leak all over your clean clothes and they are small for packing.
and these are also great for multiple uses.
For when there is no TP.
For when the toilet seat looks like it was used as the TP, you can clean it.
And for when you have not been able to get to a shower in a while, you can hit the "hot spots" to freshen up.
