I get picked up for my last 9 days this afternoon. I was supposed to be trained by my fiance. But while I was in school she got told she wasn't hired. I am not the only one this has happened to. I ran into a guy in Chicago this happened to. Can't say it is a good company, but hey it is a strarter company. There are good people here and some scumbags. As far as him training you goes if he gets hired also then he can train you from the start as long as he has experience and at least one year of winter driving.
Got my new lead driver on Thursday. Really great guy. Takes time and explains things. He is a L/P guy like my first trainer. Larry took me out the first day he got in to C.R. Had me drive around then let me get plenty of backing in. On his dime. Great guy, even better teacher.
My Rotten-Story! Went thru 5 co "drs" in 2 mths! & 2 trainers before that! Now up to this point-3 agents! They used me as a trainer- Kids that had maybe 2 to 4 wks EXP. (counting some time with a trainer?) I was a wreck after the first 6mths! Got agent that liked air freight & a good co dr! -that was the start of OVER 26K Miles in a mth! Always Before time 2 Drop! Never! Never Late! 2 pick up or Drop! Was com'en back out rolled over in bed-tore the cartlage out of 3 ribs- Drove 11hrs. after ward! then 10 to Head Office! last time out came down with what I thought was a blood clot- Heck I was 1800 miles from home-well if you can't drive get off the truck? NOT ME- Called my doc he told me come in when I get home! Dispatcher KNEW I was hurting-HUNG us out in Or for 4 days! Then home! I drove 2nd. out of Or. called drop to check time of Drop? they said they closed at 400pm- I was 100+ miles away at 300pm Well, I called dispatch-wked crew! told them- ## ur load! I am going to fontana Yard- Where I called David Turner- 2 CYA- and told him, I had to get off the truck for Medical reasons! While I was off- 1 of the students came by & told me of a class action out of San Deigo,Ca-? I followed up Gave them Ok to recontact me for Dep. Noth'en Yet Supposed to be that crst did not even pay min. wage! Did not have to tell me that-* Avg. mth exp. $1500.00 Avg. paycheck 950.00 Wait a minute! & No I did not BARROW on work! then U end up Dr. 4 FREE! Still never got anything from the Co. It was not a clot- it was a bug that made my leg Swell 4times what it should be- in a matter of days! toes look like they were go'na pop! So If anyone out there knows of this class action Please forward it to me & I will hit them up again? This is UR basicjoe TAYL-type at ya later
