Hi iron eagle, the differance is that at the end of 3-4 years you'll own a truck worth $30,000-$50,000. As a company driver your boss will own that same truck and probably won't even say thank to you. What it really boils down to is do you want to be an O/O and run where and when you want or is being a company driver what you want to be? Theres a place for both.

10-4 driver yes I want my own my truck too....! But known about driver making 1,300 to 1,700 a week while they own the truck on lease purchase and driving a van, reefers!! Thats why I was suprise when I read 800+1000.I came here after hearing. Another company's in the oversize
Company sayn that u can make $325.000 a year blah blah ho knows is is true.well I just keep on looking good luck to you too driver bless have a great day! -
Those same drivers making that money also go negative when the truck breaks or when they take time off not here I always take money home if I'm working. None of this 2000 mile a week break even point stuff
Those same drivers can also work 2 weeks or more and never take home a penny -
oh and i forgot to add that most of them don't have a prayer of making that 60k balloon payment when the lease is up but alost of them will just resign a lease and do the cycle again

well it has been a little bit since i check in, i got my truck back and got those 2 pickup's delivered, freight was slow or on the cheaper side for july i hope it doesn't continue..
after the pickups i grabbed another load of the blue pipe and took it to williston ND, delivered that on monday and bounced to Great Falls MT, and grabbed to SeaDoo Wakeboard boats. dropped those in Portland on Wensday, and grabbed a 2 drop load of stanless steel out of portland.. tarping a 1 foot high load with 8 foot lumber tarps was a bit a chore but got it done. made my first drop this morning and completely missed my second drop and had a snafu and got stuck turning the truck around.. did a little damage to the headache rack and faring... and i feel pertty stupid but it will pass..
company doesn't seem to upset about it, no one was hurt that is the main thing.
so i will empty out tomorrow and head to KW for a new headache rack and see if they have a fairing or if one will need to be ordered.
Also tomorrow i will have my review with Tina, and might be off the probation period we will see tomorrow and i will post up some numbers when i get them.. hope everyone is doing well thanks for following my post
Here is a picture of the boats i took to portlandhup Thanks this. -
