we dropped the sleds in Durango CO on Tuesday, got to go over Redman Pass for the first time on HWY 50 it was very pretty up their, i don't think i would go over it with more than 25K on board too steep it and the switch backs woudln't be worth it.. yesterday we went to Farmington and grabbed a load of hay, the rate wasn't great but good enough, got that delivered in Hereford TX this morning, that load and the one we pick up in the morning i found on Internet Truck Stop,... tomorrow we load two pickups headed for Airway Heights WA will get a restart at home then head out again...
i have an oil leak hoping the shop will beable to fix it on saturday when i get back, Freedom truck center left a bad taste in my mouth last time so will see if KW or Transport Equipment can do it as i have to deliver monday morning..
The leak is the hose from the oil filter housing to the turbo shouldn't be too hard i wouldn't think -

well i picked up the 2 pickups thursday morning and made it up to Dwyer junction WY, headed out friday morning and made it to Crow Agency MT, and something went wrong with my truck, it would quit making boost and idle real funny and when i tried to take off the truck didn't have enough power to get out of 1st gear just flat on it face this happend about 2 pm on friday, and the engine fan was running non stop weird, so i called the company and they had the loaner truck towed down from missoula it got their about 1 am, and they took my truck to cummins NW and monday we will find out what is going on and get the oil leak fixed as well.
we took the loaner up to billings and went to bed, woke up got fuel ( this thing has really small tanks only 87 gallons to fill from empty.) and started rolling home, we stopped on top of the cont. devide for a quick break, got back in the truck and i could not push the clutch pedal down it just wouldn't budge was like WTF i called Don to see if he had any insight but nope, so i got to poking around and the Clutch resivor was dry, great i don't carry brake fluid in the truck so i went to every car in the rest area looking for some and YAY someone had a qt of it and gave it to me i was very thankful, i filled the resivor up and pumped the clutch pedal and all is good, made it home about 6pm and deliver monday if the custormer can figer out where we are unloading
hope you all have a great weekend -
